Ingredients
2large yellow passion fruits or 4-5 purple passion fruits, or frozen passion fruit puree/pulp. You need about 7 oz for one pitcher
4cupswater
Sugarto taste, I added about ⅓ cup
Instructions
If using whole fruits, cut them in halve and scoop out the pulp.
In a blender, add at least 2 cups of water, the passionfruit pulp, and sugar. Add to taste, I would start with about ¼ cup and add more if needed.
Blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture over a fine mesh sieve/strainer over a bowl or pitcher. Add the juice to a pitcher with the remaining water and any additional sugar and stir.
Serve over ice and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover passion fruit juice in the fridge in an airtight container like a jar or pitcher for up to 3 days. Stir before serving, as natural separation may occur. It’s also freezer-friendly—just pour into ice cube trays and thaw as needed.
